Michael Dynan

Michael (Mike) Dynan currently heads up a company called The Assembly, an event organizer with a fresh new approach to live events. 

Mike is one of the founding directors of Media 10 and was hugely influential in the launch and acquisition of over 30 successful event titles.

Michael has set new standards in the events industry, always looking to improve on what has gone before, and has worked tirelessly over 2 decades to add originality to a quite traditional sector. 

Never afraid to explore new territories and always open to new ways of working, Mike successfully set up the events division of Media 10 in South Africa and China and has recently launched Desing Mumbai.

This global career perfectly shows Mike’s capability to create impactful relationships with international partners, audiences, and teams. He has run some of the most driven and successful commercial teams in the events industry and has launched several award-winning events, including Design Shanghai, Design China Beijing, Xintiandi Design Festival, Ideal Home Show China, and Best of British (BOB a collaboration with the British Government in Shanghai).
